Tom’s book, Travels with KOKO, will be launched later this year. It is the first in a trilogy of books about his 11,272-mile world walk and covers the opening countries: Mexico (a tiny part), America (coast to coast), Ireland, Wales and England. Watch this space!

Tom is a seasoned speaker who has given over 100 talks everywhere from The Royal Geographical Society in both London and Hong Kong; the Explorers Club in New York and loads of venues across the UK from Oxford University to Darlington Ladies Lunch Club (one of his favourites—tough questions!). Whatever the setting, big or small, Tom will tailor the talk to the audience.

Tom prefers to speak in person (depending on the location he will do his very best to reach the venue!) but is equally at home online. He is happy to waive a speaking fee for a charity donation instead, either for a cause that is important to the audience he is speaking to, or one that he supported during his world walk (see charity page).
