Meet Einstein, the speedy Mexican street dog, who will walk with me across America. We stride off tomorrow morning!
Einstein was named after the wild-haired genius by the wonderful Juarez rescue home, Colitas Felices (Happy Tails), who said he was the savviest dog on the block.
My favourite quote of (the human) Einstein is: ‘Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m still not sure about the universe’.
Sometimes, when the canine Einstein looks at me, I sense he agrees.
